    <description>The cartridge could be dried shut. Take it out and wipe with a wet paper towel to clear the dried toner off the connectors. This will be messy! Wipe dry, then reinsert and try again. Hope that helps!</description>

      <title>Pixma MX490 won't print</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Black cartridge is over 1/2 full but will not print. It is a newer XL cartridge.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The color cartridge will print, its about the same level, and it is the original one that&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;came with the printer about 3 years ago.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I haven't used the printer that much since I changed the black cartridge about a year ago.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Why is this happening?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
