Questions about imageformula p-215

Could not find a better place than General discussion for scanners.

So, I need a scanner with twain and adf.

After a couple of hours googling my #1 is the p-125.

Some amazon users complains and says that adf does not work propely.

The scanner grabs 2 documents and leaves the last one.
Q1:
How common is this problem? Is it ok to get it replaced if it behaves like that?

Q2:
The user Bruce says that he got a replacement scanner with updated firmware to solve a problem.
Can I somehow check firmware version on a label or something before purchase to know I get the correct version?
Other ideas?

Yes, I saw all happy comments on amazon. So that is why it is my #1 choice.
But I just wanna know little more before purchase.

If your ADF (Automatic Document Feeder) is pulling two documents at once, it is usually an issue of a dirty stop pad right below the feed roller that keeps the documents from "double feeding". If it is a rubber pad, it can usually be cleaned with an alcohol pad.

Was your question one of troubleshooting?....or pre-qualifying before you buy a particular model?
