    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Looking for assistance with a new problem on my unit.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Unable to print B&amp;amp;W pages - unit feeds paper and "prints" in the background, makes printing sounds however pages are blank.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Steps Taken:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;UL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;All ink cartidges have ink and did replace one of the Black cartridges but no change.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Photos that printed included black elements which did print successfully.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Nozzle cleaning and head alignments were completed without any difference.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;USB and Power were disconnected and Power button held to discharge per other forum suggestion.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Multiple computers were used in attempt to print the B&amp;amp;W documents.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/UL&gt;&lt;P&gt;I did not locate this specific problem in the forum.&amp;nbsp; Thanks for your assistance.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi gerysm.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The PGBK and BK cartridges are used for different purposes. The PGBK is used for printing single-sided, text documents on plain paper. The BK is used for photos, duplex printing, or when using any other type of paper.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Based on the information you provided, it appears that there may be an issue with the print head that is preventing the PGBK ink from being applied to the paper. You can try removing and reseating the print head, and then perform one more cleaning.
