Do any Canon printers AIO print with one empty cartridge?

We are looking for a new printer all in one AIO, anyone have ideas, looking at MX922 at Costco. We would like one that will print if a cartridge is out, considering how many cartridges these have. Thanks for any help.

Hi vanbass!

Unfortunately, none of Canon printers will print when an error condition is present. When an error condition occurs, the printer stops functioning until the error has been corrected. This is the same with all of our printers. The best thing we can recommend is to keep an eye on the ink levels and replace the ink when it gets low. If you only print in black ink, then we recommend using Plain Paper and Draft or Standard as the quality setting. This will ensure that only black ink is used.
