Resolved. Well I ripped/removed enough paper from the underside of the printer so that it must have gone past some sort of sensor. I plugged the printer in, switched it on and the paper came out on its own.

Hello, anyone know how to disassemble an MG5750 ? The paper was jammed and has been ripped off. From feed side only 1mm of paper showing and from the underside its ripped off. I can get hold of small pieces with pliers but it is too tight ? I am very interested as to how to get it out. Surely there is a release mechanism somewhere. Thanks for any help.
