How to use a NZ printer with cartridges from others regions (Europe & America)

Hello,

I have bought a TS6160 printer in New Zeland (NZ) to equip a yatch that is sailing arround the world.

The boat is now in South Africa and will be in few months in Brazil, then USA.

It is very difficult to buy NZ cartrigdes out of NZ or Austrilia.

NZ cartridge references are PGI-680 and CLI-681.

USA cartridge references are PGI-280 and CLI-281 (printer reference is TS6120).

European cartrigde references are PGI-580 and CLI-581 (printer reference is TS6150).

Do you know a way to use non NZ cartridges on NZ printer?

Could I update the driver or the microcode?

Not exactly the same problem but recently moved to the US from the UK and have a TS6150.

Bought PGI-280 cartridges and they dont work so would really like to know if there is a solution.
