I have been successfully using my MP210 for several years. Recently the scanner stopped working. I cannot get it to scan from either the computer or the top panel button. The error message is "ScanGear - Cannot communicate with scanner. Cable may be disconnected or scanner turned off. Check status. Scanner driver will be closed." However, I have run the printer diagnostics and the printer is communicating. I have reloaded all the software from the Canon site. How do I get the scanner to work?
