Hi jeano19.

For communication problems caused by power outage:

Disconnect the power cord from the printer, as well as powering off the router or modem that controls your network.

Wait ~ 12 seconds.

Power on only the router/modem. Wait for it to fully come online.

Once the router/modem is fully online, plug the printer back in and power it back on.

If the printer is still unable to communicate after these steps, make sure the printer is powering on correctly. If it does not, then register the printer to a Canon Account (if you have not yet done so) and use the information provided there to contact support.

Did this answer your question?
