Paper Jam? Not Printing

This was the first time I used the printer since purchasing it. I was able to print out a four page document using the color ink cartridge. When I then went to print out another document using the black ink cartridge, the paper on the right side will not accept the paper. The paper jams and will not feed through the printer. It goes through the motions, makes the sounds, but the document does not move. i checked the paper feed, paper out put,, and did not see any paper stuck in there. I looked inside the printer and again, did not see any pieces of paper. Took out the ink cartridges and reinstalled them. On the printer clicked the black and color printer seeing if that would have any impact on the printing. The paper still does not feed through. The printer is only one month old.
