Taking out Canon MX490 Printers Hard Drives

I want to know how to take out the Canon MX490 printer's hard drives. This is because my information or data is on the hard drives. Thanks.

Hi aaron3,

The PIXMA MX490 does not have a hard drive and does not store any of your prints or scans.

You can reset your PIXMA MX490 to factory defaults if you like:

1. Press the wrench and scrwdriver button on your PIXMA MX490.

2. Use the left or right button to select Device settings and press <OK>.

3. Use the left or right button to select Reset setting and press <OK>.

4. Use the left or right button to select Setting data and press <OK>.

5. Use the left or right button to select Yes and press <OK>

6. Press <OK>.
