      <title>Pixima ix6820 ix6800 "ink cannot be recognized" - I've tried everything!</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have a Canon Pixima ix6820 which Ive had for over a year. &amp;nbsp;At the time of purchase I bought generic ink "EZ ink part number EZ 250/250XL_ 15 P". It says it expires 5/28/21&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;All of a sudden, I'm getting error code 1411 and 1413 "ink cannot be recognized".&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1) replaced every ink cartidge in every combination you could think - (inserting the black first, then closing the lid, then opening and inserting the next.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2) Ive power cycled multiple times, and I've left it unplugged for over five minutes.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;3) Ive re-seated the ink head.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;4) Ive thouroughly cleaned the ink head.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;5) I have new ink being shipped via amazon prime. &amp;nbsp;Should be here this Saturday.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any ideas?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;For future readers:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I recieved my new generic ink today. &amp;nbsp;I installed it and the printer is now working just fine. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Issue resolved.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Cause:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;"expired" ink.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
