      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi CharlesC,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When your PIXMA MP160 does not print as expected, please remove both ink cartridges from the printer and make sure that the orange tape has been removed.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;IMG src="https://community.usa.canon.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/25412i64FC36BE229307D3/image-size/original?v=1.0&amp;amp;px=-1" border="0" alt="img1.jpg" title="img1.jpg" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Next, please reinsert the ink cartridges and please perform 2 printhead cleanings:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;1.&amp;nbsp; Ensure that the printer is powered on and the LED displays a 1.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;2.&amp;nbsp; Press the &amp;lt;Maintenance&amp;gt; button once to display [H].&amp;nbsp; The Maintenance button is the button on the left hand side of the Operator's panel which has the wrench and screwdriver label above it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;3.&amp;nbsp; Press the Black Start button. The cleaning will commence.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;After performing 2 cleanings, please attmept to print.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If the issue persists, it is recommended that the ink cartridge is replaced.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
