Hi I have a Canon Pixma MX922 all-purpose machine.

I have it connected to the PHONE port of my wireless AT&T broadband modem.

I am connected to the internet, and making and receiving voice phone calles without problem.

Shouldn't I be able to FAX over that very same voice line setup?

I dial a fax #, I hear dial tone, it dials the number, and then makes a "handshake" noise, and then it begins to transmit my fax and then the MX922 prints out a non-specific error report saying that 0 (zero) pages transmitted. Do I have any hope of FAXING?

Many thanks.
