Pixma ix6820 not recognizing new ink

Brand new printer and ink..and it won't recognize the ink.

Help!

It blinks 15 times

Is it just one ink cartridge that doesn't have the light on?

Did you try to remove and reseat the cartridge?

Yes, all lights come in red. I have turned off and on. And then even unplugged and took all of them out, plugged back in and put all back in..and all lights are red and atoll blinks when I shut it

Since its brand new can you return it?

If not, give Canon a call at 1-800-OK-CANON.
