      <title>ERROR CODE B200 AND SCANNING</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;This MX922 is a replacement for a previous Canon printer which had similar error codes that I couldn't correct and ended up trashing it.&amp;nbsp; Now I have the same situation with this Canon and am thinking I need to switch manufacturers.&amp;nbsp; When it works, it prints and scans fine.&amp;nbsp; But this is ridiculous.&amp;nbsp; I have followed instructions from this group to correct:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ERROR CODE B200 -&amp;nbsp; turn off, unplug for 1 minute; open printer carriage door, turn back on, close carriage door when it returns halfway.&amp;nbsp; It fixes it for a few printings, then reocccurs.&amp;nbsp; Sometimes takes several times with this process.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Scanning issue - SET THE PC TO START SCANNING!&amp;nbsp; New issue - followed this:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Click on the Windows Start button, click on Canon Utilities, IJ Scan Utility and then the IJ Scan Utility to open that program.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;At the top, next to Product Name, please make sure Canon MX920 series Network is selected.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Place an item face down on the scan glass of your PIXMA MX922.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;4.&amp;nbsp; Click the AUTO button on the IJ Scan Utility&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;No change!&amp;nbsp; Beginning to hate this brand.&amp;nbsp; ANY ADDITIONAL INFO APPRECIATED.&amp;nbsp; THANKS!&lt;/P&gt;</description>
