Tech Support could not hear the squeaking over the phone. If they do, their only solution under warranty or care pak is to replace the printer.

I just got my new TS9520 today, direct from Canon (replacing a MX882 with the B200 error). During setup and in use, before the ink was in and then ongoing when printing, I hear squeaking from the mechanism. It seems to be from carriage moving back and forth. Is this unit defective, just in need of lubrication or what? Can this readily be dealt with?
