I literally just bought the little Canon combo pack with the 243 Black and 244 Color cartridges about a week ago before the semester started. I've printed about 15 or so papers all black ink on plain paper and black ink is already down to 1 bar left. There's absolutely no way this thing should be using that much ink, there's more ink in the pens I buy from Walmart then in these ink cartridges apparently.
