Pixma MG3250 unable to connect to PC via USB or WiFi. Cannot clear Po7 fault or load drivers

I have been given a pixma MG3250 with fresh inks but with error P07. I have googled many different eays to clear but it will not reset. Cannot load driver to windows 7 / 10 PC as the printer cannot bee seen by USB or WiFi.. USB cable ok as runs other printers. WiFi will not connect. Good cleag printer and I would like to resolve the problem rather than skip it. I just cannot get it to reset. I'm prepared to dig deeper down to component level if it can be reset that way. Thanks for any help.

Greetings,

The P07 error means your printer will need service. The reset procedure requires a utility that is not avaible to the public.

I'd recommend a new printer in this case.

Received same error message, P07, on my PIXMA MG3120 printer - cartridges will not slide on the bar when opening the front panel - cartridges are stuck to the right. Can I get the utility (not available to the public) and instructions to reset my printer? Canon says this model cannot be serviced by them.
