MX922 scanner stopped working with the Canon IJ Scanner Utility and now only connects to wireless network thtough Image

Capture. Printer continues to work. Thoughts anyone? Thanks.

Hi salster,

Please make sure that you are using the Canon driver and not Airprint. Please follow these steps:

1. Please click on the Apple in the upper left corner and then System Preferences.

2. Click on Printers & Scanners.

3. Click on the MX922 and then the [-] at the bottom to remove it. Repeat until all MX922's are gone.

4. Click the [+] and then Add printer or scanner. The Add window will appear.

5. In the Add window, please wait until the Canon MX920 series appears with IJ Network in the Kind column.

6. Click 1 time on that listing. At the bottom, next to "Use", please make sure that Canon MX920 series is select and not Airprint.

7. Click Add.

Once reinstalled, please attempt to scan.
