    <description>&lt;P&gt;I have a cannon mx 920 ws series. &amp;nbsp;I have error 5011 &amp;nbsp;and have tried to clear it. &amp;nbsp;I have followed&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;steps I have seen on line. Nothing has cleared it.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Tonight I spent $40 with qeek squad on line for over an hour. At the end&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;all he said it was a hardware issue and can not do anything remotely.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What would b an hardware issue?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Jeanett&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Greetings,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The error indicates there is a jam, obstruction or communication&amp;nbsp;failure.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This is the first steps:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://ij.manual.canon/ij/webmanual/ErrorCode/MX920%20series/EN/ERR/5011.html#wp1096149" target="_blank"&gt;Canon : PIXMA Manuals : MX920 series : 5011&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Which doesn't always resolve the issue.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The next thing to do is look for an obstruction or jam.&amp;nbsp; Canned air and a flashlight might be helpful here.&amp;nbsp; This can be a corner or ripped piece of paper, or something that has become trapped or lodged&amp;nbsp;under the printhead.&amp;nbsp; For this, I would remove the ink cartridges&amp;nbsp;and the printhead.&amp;nbsp; Inspect and reassemble, then reseat the inks.&amp;nbsp; Reconnect to power and test.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If that doesn't work the issue is not going to be something you can fix on your own.&amp;nbsp; You can contact Canon and decide if you want to go though packing the printing up for shipping, schlepping it to a repair facility and paying for diagnosis and repair...,&amp;nbsp; or simply replace it.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
