    <title>topic IJ Scan Utility not working with brand new TS8351 in Desktop Inkjet Printers</title>

    <description>&lt;P&gt;Just purchased a TS8351 Scanner/Printer. It works OK and I can scan using the generic Microsoft Scanner routine from Windows 10 (64 bit). However, the IJ Scan Utility does not work.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I get a message&amp;nbsp;&lt;IMG src="https://community.usa.canon.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/26170i777C09A632BBF010/image-size/small?v=1.0&amp;amp;px=-1" border="0" alt="Capture.JPG" title="Capture.JPG" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The scanner is not turned off and I can scan using microsoft - its just IJ Scan Utility that does not work.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Have contacted Canon Support and followed instructions about removing all old Canon printer drives etc and reloading the software directly from the link they provided. Followed the instructions to the letter. It makes no difference. Still waiting for a solution from support.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I suspect if I completely reinstalled Windows 10 and then installed the software, it might work, but I am not prepared to do that.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any one else had this problem with this or similar printers and has a solution to fix it?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Help greatly appreciated.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
