Had a series of green and orange flashing lights on photo printer. canon advised me to buy new since repair cost would be prohibitive. received new one am getting same message and now, printer doesnt recognize my ink i had been using in old ip3600- same new model changed to new canon ink supplied with printer same ink message; tried to load old ink support form in tank figuring might be defect in spot where large black tank goes; same thing happend any suggestions?

Please document the exact error pattern that is shown on the printer with the new cartridges installed. Count how many times the light flashes orange before it flashes green, or count how many times the lights alternate before the pattern repeats.
