    <description>&lt;P&gt;Are the ink cartridges properly installed? Perhaps one or both are loose?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is there any paper that is still stuck? &amp;nbsp;Does the front panel of the printer show error 1300 (Paper jammed)?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If not, probably best to call Canon to see about a service or repair. &amp;nbsp;Just a guess, but clicking sounds may be gears slipping.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Did you know that Canon charges $20 for you to talk to someone there!?&amp;nbsp; Ridiculous.&amp;nbsp; I"ve tried adusting the ink, no paper stuck and I cleaned the encoder strip.&amp;nbsp; still knocking.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service, or for some reason are incompatible with a new or upgraded system.
