When I send a print job it doesn't make a sound until a solid 5 minutes after it's been sent. It then will do some sort of adjusting, and then wait another 5 to 10 to just never actually getting around to printing. It's driving me crazy. It's connected wirelessly but it's no more than a few feet away from the router and says the signal stringth is good and it did the same thing when we use it with the usb cable connected.

This basically renders this printer useless. I've reinstalled the drivers and restarted and replugged everything multiple times.

This is what I'm looking at I reinstalled the drivers printed a test page during the install and then printed a random image and it took like 5 minutes to start printing and now I'm just waiting on a small text file if it will ever print

Greetings,

My suggestuion. Start by assigning the printer a static or reserved IP address on your network. This can be done on the printer or on your wireless router. Restart the device and confirm it is using the assigned / reserved address.

Remove the printer from Control Panel > Device and Printers (you can right-click)

Now use the add printer option and select the printer I want to add is not listed option. On the next page select Add printer as TCP/IP device radio button.

Specify the IP of the printer, and let windows install it. Once installed, open a web browser (any) and enter the printer's IP. Its webserver should display. You can also try to PING it from a command prompt.

>ping [enter the IP] and press enter... it should reply.

Now try printing again, simple notepad doc is a good test.

If that doesn't help, you'll need to tell us more about your system environment. Are you using VPN for work, do you have any 3rd party anti-virus or security software installed, etc?
