    <description>&lt;P&gt;No hub or extender.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As stated I have used 2 different usb cords with no sucess.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I used the same cord on my laptop and the printer worked.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The port is USB001 Virtual printer port for Cannon LBP6000/6018&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I purchased a new Cannon LBP6000 printer.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It prints the same page over and over until I cancel the print job.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It gives a communication error of make sure the printer is turned on and the USB cord is connected.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I run a Dell computer with Windows 7 Home Edition.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The printer will work on my laptop wich is an old IBM with Windows XP.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have tried support at Cannon and at a Windows &amp;amp; forum with no help to fix the problem.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I also have a Kodak printer that works fine on this computer.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Things tried:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Changed USB cords.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Run all different kinds of software fixes.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Remove and added current driver from Cannon.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;TIA&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi ES1.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I would like to ask a few questions, so that I can better assist you:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1.&amp;nbsp; Are you using any kind of USB hub, or USB extender, between the printer and the computer?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2.&amp;nbsp; Please open the [Devices and Printers] window and right-click on the LBP6000.&amp;nbsp; Select [Printer Properties], and then click the [Ports] tab.&amp;nbsp; Which port is the printer listed on?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I&amp;nbsp;look forward to your reply.&amp;nbsp; Should you need immediate assistance, please contact us at 1-800-OK-CANON (1-800-652-2666).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
