I have a PIXMA MX410 multifunction printer/copier/fax. The ADF will not work. Error message is "Cannot scan from ADF" The copy, black AND color lights are lit on the panel. HELP!

When a document is loaded in the ADF and a Preset Copy Ratio or Auto Exposure has been applied, the LCD will display CANNOT SCAN FROM ADF.

To resolve this, either load the document on the Platen Glass when copying with a preset copy ratio or reset the copy ratio and set the exposure to Manual. To reset the copy ratio, please follow these steps:

1. Press <COPY>

2. Press <ENLARGE/REDUCE>.

3. [PRESET RATIO] will appear. Press <OK>.

4. Use the <+> or <-> key until [100% AS IS] appears.

5. Press <OK>.

6. Press <EXPOSURE>.

7. Press <-> to select <MANUAL ADJUST>.

8. Press <OK>.

The unit will now scan from the ADF.
