MX920 printer prints from wrong tray. How do I default to correct tray?

I have seen a couple of other comments similar to mine. Specifically trying to print coupons. The issue is that the printer defaults to the upper tray. I tried to print over airprint and it defaulted to the upper tray as well, when I really wanted 8 1/2 x 11. How do I get the printer to default to the bottom tray. I just purchased this printer because my previous one wouldn't alway print coupons and also to use the airprint feature. BOTH of the reasons I purchased this printer are not even working. PLEASE provide a solution!!!

Does anyone at Canon moderate the forums? Please respond!!! I am days away from returning the printer and buying another brand, I will be sure to pass along my experience with Canon to all of my business contacts. thank you
