    <description>&lt;P&gt;Thank you for the suggestion! I do have the cartridges in the correct spots and have taken in/out several times to reboot printer. I can't scan either.&amp;nbsp; I have seen suggestions on other models where this issue arises when ink is changed before the low ink warning appears, requiring a reset by holding down stop button but this did not work on my model.&amp;nbsp; I am not sure if there is a way to do a reset to clear the warnings specific to this model?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I just changed both color and BW cartridges and now I am getting an error code when I try to print (1401) that the printer does not recognize the ink.&amp;nbsp; The CL/BK and warning indicators are all flashing orange.&amp;nbsp; I have tried to turn off and on- reinstall ink to reset and still not working.&amp;nbsp; Seeking suggestions on how to resolve!&amp;nbsp; HELP!&amp;nbsp; Thanks.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I came across this thread while looking for answers for the exact same problem. I also have tried everything that Krismj11 mentions in the original post and replies. My ink is an exact replacement from Canon.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Am I meant to understand there is no solution available except for buying a new printer?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
