The image editing software included with Canon 6Ti is incompatible with my OS, Windows XP. Any suggestions.

You've got a 2001 operating system and a 2015 camera. You will have to update your OS to at least W7 or find an alternate software.

Are you desiring to process RAW files?

Yes. I am planning to process raw files. As to the software, I downloaded Raw therapee and will use that.

Then you should be all set. The Canon DPP is also a RAW editor. Your camera settings like Picture Style, Dust Data etc. won't be readable by RawTherapee but if it's compatible with 6Ti files you will be able to process them.
