    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi jrhoffman75,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Greetings from Singapore. I have the same issue with my DPP. I followed the link you attached. But however...which files should I reinstall or uninstall?&amp;nbsp;I don't see Canon files among the listed.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I actually uninstall one file - Microsoft Visual C++....&amp;nbsp;by mistake and it rendered my Photoshop unuseable. The Adobe staff actually repaired the file and my PS is ok again, Is it similarly situation with what happened to my DPP?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Sorry, this is the 1st it happened with the DPP in my PC.       <title>Digital Photo Professional 4.4.30 for Windows 10 x64 Processing file not working</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Digital Photo Professional 4.4.30 for Windows 10 x64 (my Dell laptop) was working fine until yesterday afternoon. I made some editing works on some of my CR2 photos.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Then &lt;SPAN&gt;Ctrl+D&lt;/SPAN&gt; to &lt;SPAN&gt;Convert and Save&lt;/SPAN&gt; it to JPG. The processing file took forever and there was no output photo at all.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I tried to reinstall my graphic driver and then DDP4.4.30 for 3 times.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Did you first try to delete it before you re-installed it?&amp;nbsp; Is it failing with all files, or just certain ones?&amp;nbsp; When was the last time you ran a virus scan?&amp;nbsp; Or, rebooted the computer?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What happens if you try to start the processing from the menus, instead of typing CTRL-D?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thank you so much for reply!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Yes, I did uninstall both EOS Utility and DDP 4.4.30 and reinstalled&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When it opened again, I tried to use the menu instead of Ctrl+D&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Both ways were not working!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I was leaving the Processing windows open, and wait for an hour, nothing happened. I had to use Task Manager to End Task so the Processing windows was able to close!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Jensen. Yes, it’s very frustrating when software ( or anything) suddenly stops working the way it did for no apparent reason. It’s also extremely difficult to figure out why when it’s not a universal problem. I have used DPP since version 1, and that would ha e spanned XP to W10. Never had a problem. Similarly on my MacBook from one of the “animals” to High Sierra; no problem. Hopefully someone can identify a possible source to the problem some folks are having.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Apparently, it's linked to the Microsoft Registry. They did a remote assist and conduct deductive approach.
