I am troublehootiing a friend's computer. He is using Windows XP SP1. He likes to use Canon Zoombrowser version 3.2. His computer recently crashed and I had to install another hard drive and reinstall Windows and the Zoombrowser program. He now has it at his home and is receiving the following error message when attempting to open the Zooombrowser program: You cannot have 2 registries open, close one to continue. He clicks on the registry tab and it indicates if repair button is illuminated, click to fix. The repair button is not illuminated. He cannot access his files or folders. He has indicated this problem has happened before, but unfortunately, I am not experienced with troubleshooting this program. How should I proceed to guide him in troubleshooting this issue. I could offer to reinstall the program when he returns to my area. Are there any common registry settings that I could look into further? Thank you for your assistance.
