    <description>&lt;P&gt;OS X encompasses&amp;nbsp;Mountain&amp;nbsp;Lion &amp;gt; El Capitan.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You should verify the version of the EOS Utility is correct for your OS.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The firewall is pretty much the same.&amp;nbsp; Open system preferences, then Security and Privacy.&amp;nbsp; Now look at the tabs General, Firewall and Privacy and allow what is being blocked.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm trying to run the EOS utility to pair my macbook with my EOS 80D using the EOS utility. When I get to the pairing step, I receive a message 'Firewallalertmsg', and I cannot proceed. Running OS X on my 12 yr. old macbook.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
