    <description>&lt;P&gt;Greeitngs,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What version of windows are you using?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Have you recently updated or upgraded the OS?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What AntiVirus are you running?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;A few things you can try.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Create and new user profile with admin permissions.&amp;nbsp; Test the utility again and see if the behavior follows?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Run SFC /SCANNOW from a elevated command prompt and check&amp;nbsp;the OS for integrity violations.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>EOS Utility 3 stopped working, crashes on startup (Windows 10)</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I had been using EOS Utility 3 successfully for a long time, and I love it!.&amp;nbsp; Today, it crashes on startup( I see the splash screen showing ver3,then itt crahses, see event info below:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Faulting application name: EOS Utility 3.exe, version: 3.10.20.0, time stamp: 0x5c356928&lt;BR /&gt;Faulting module name: KERNELBASE.dll, version: 10.0.17134.885, time stamp: 0x59816e73&lt;BR /&gt;Exception code: 0xe0434352&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I've tried rebooting and re-installing.&amp;nbsp; As far as I can tell, I'm using the latest version. EOS Utility 2 works fine on my older Canon...&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any suggestions?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thanx,       <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm running the latest Windows 10, it automatically updates from MicroSoft. Running McAffee virus.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Creating another user profile works.&amp;nbsp; So there is something "bad" in my user profile, how do I clean it all out?&amp;nbsp; I tried removing and re-installing to no avail...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;thannx for your suggestsions.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;mark&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>EOSUPNPSV.exe fault while wifi pairing SL2 (200D)</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I'm trying to hook up my SL2&amp;nbsp; via wifi to my computer via the EOS Utility ( so I can download my images via wifi ).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When I get to the pairing step of the process, my camera does not show up in the "EOS Pairing Software"&amp;nbsp; dialog.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;After some searching (mostly on this forum)&amp;nbsp; and looking at Windows10 Application logs, I found the following eosupnpsv.exe fault error.&amp;nbsp;I'm running the latest EOS Utility (the previous version did not work either)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any suggestions?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;IMG src="https://community.usa.canon.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/26471iAB273ED6A83FD683/image-size/original?v=1.0&amp;amp;px=-1" border="0" alt="Event Message Error Annotation 2020-12-20 113820.png" title="Event Message Error Annotation 2020-12-20 113820.png" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
