Tried all lenses and card combinations. I tried iPad and iPhone. Same results. I want to know if I am doing it correctly. Can someone walk me through the steps? I have a 500mm zoom that requires manual focus. Zooming in would help confirm I am in focus

Hi,

I have a SL3 and have used the canon connect app. It was great because I could use a manual focus lens and double tap the live view when I wanted to see if I was focused well on something far off. All of a sudden the double tap on live view doesn't work. Has anyone else found this? I double checked, and I do have the double tap on live view for magnification turned on, so I have no idea what gives. Can someone tell me if there is a new magical formula that I am missing, please? There is very limited instructions on this app.

Hi vincent228,

Thanks for checking in with us.

Let's see if we can isolate the issue.

Since the issue came up, are you still able to download images from the camera to Camera Connect?

Have you tried doing tests with different lenses or memory cards?

Are you set to shoot photos? If so, what exposure settings are you using?

We look forward to your reply.
