    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi mannfilm!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks for posting.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I would like to ask a some questions to get a better understanding of the issue and what may be causing it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;When looking at the remote shooting window, does the letter M appear indicating manual exposure is set?&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;What exposure values are changing?&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Do you have Exposure Simulation enabled?&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Does the resulting image appear different from the image you see in the window?&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;P&gt;If this is a time sensitive-matter, additional support options are available at &lt;A target="_blank" href="http://www.usa.canon.com/cusa/consumer/standard_display/contact_us_consumer"&gt;Contact Us&lt;/A&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Canon 5dm3. Hooked to PC running EOS utility - remote control - live view. EOS utility insists on auto-exposure even though camera is set to manual and ISO is NOT on auto.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thank you mike.&amp;nbsp; the solution was in exposure simulation.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Select "Live view / movie function set."&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;LV func setting: "enable"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Expsore simulation: enable - BUT NOT "enable (dof)"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For some reason enable (dof) turns on auto exposure, you'd think it would be dept of feild.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks again&lt;/P&gt;</description>
