Out of ideas. Maybe try deleting and re-installing EU on the malfunctioning computer.

Anyone know why when using Live View on the EOS Utility (latest version), I will get a communication lost error after 38 secs and the programs lock up.

Problem occurs on one computer but not on a different computer. Both are Windows 7 Enterprise, 32 bit systems. Cameras are Rebel T2i and Canon Rebel T5. Any help would be much appreciated!

Since the same version of EU functions correctly on one computer and not the other I would guess it is related to a background program on one of the computers. Compare running processes for each computer in Task manager and suspend any that are different on the malfunctioning compuiter and see if that addresses the issue.

Thanks for the idea.

Unfortunately there were only 2 processes that were different and stopping both of them didn't solve the problem. As an additional note, the program freezes up not only with Live View, but with video, and photo downloads.

RCa
