EOS-1v ES-E1 Original Software

Does anyone know where to obtain the original ES-E1 CD Software (version 1.1 or 1.2)? I am unable to re-install the software without the original CD making my cable useless.

I have the update software but need to the orginal CD to install.

This might help if you are willing to work in the Registry.

I am confortable modifying registry. Do you have the keys that need to be added?

Unfortunately, the registry changes didn't work.

I ended up calling Canon support and talking to a nice technician who located a version of the software (v 1.2) and was going to make a copy and send to me.

I am still waiting on the CD to arrive.

fingers are crossed that it will come and solve the day.
