Digital Photo Professional 4 & 5D Mark ii

Hello,

I downloaded Digital Photo Professional 4. When I plug in my 5D Mark ii however, the images I have shot do not appear.

I tried importing them, but doesn't work.

I am shooting in Raw.

Is there a compatibility issue with Digitial Photo Professional 4 and 5d mark ii?

Any help would be appreciated please.

Make sure you are using DPP 4.1.5 or higher.

edit: also how are you downloading the photos to your camera? To my knowledge DPP doesn't read images off the camera, only off the computer. You need to use EOS Utility or a similar program to download files from your camera to the computer.

Thanks! You fixed my lack of knowledge issue.

I was trying to read directly from the camera, not realising I had to put them on the laptop first using EOS Utility.

The photography journey continues!
