EOS Utility Launcher not detecting EOS R7

I have a EOS R7 that I purchased in May 2026. I downloaded the Utility software to my Windows 11 desktop computer (AMD Ryzan 7, 32 GB RAM, 2TB SDD). The software worked seamlessly. Last week I took some pictures and when I connected my camera via the USB-C cable, which I've done many times prior, the software wouldn't autodetect my camera. I tried redownloading and installing the software. I've tried different cables, although I know this one worked previously. I checked the camera settings to ensure that it's set to use the utility program.

I can see the camera in Windows Explorer. Just for some reason it wont autodetect or autostart the program when I connect to the computer.

Go into the Canon Utilities folder and then the EU3 folder. Select the EU3 app.

@tjmaldo, so if you start EOSU as John suggested, it will not detect the R7? Or, will it just not auto start?

That worked. I'm not sure why the EOS R7 software installer from the Canon website loads the other Utility to my desktop (shortcut). Anyway, the EU3 program worked. Thanks.
