If you have a very long list of garbage in your Recycle Bin, it's like throwing your household garbage in a wastebasket and never emptying it. It's taking up space on your hard drive. Delete files, and at least weekly, empty the Recycle Bin. You can take one last look at its contents before emptying to make sure there's not something you DO want to kepp. But for goodness sake, GET RID of your trash.

Was sorting through a bunch of photos taken this past weekend. I was deleting photos that were fuzzy or a duplicate. However, like a dummy I accidentally deleted a photo, JPG, before I realized I needed to keep it. Any way to recover it? Photos are on File Explorer. Thanks.

When you locate it in the Recycle Bin select the file and then select recover.

John, kvb, thanks. Not a computer whiz by a long shot but didn't realize what is saved in the Recycle Bin. Just need to determine the IMG number and go through the very long list. At 77, my grandfather's dictum is: You are never too old to learn. Guess what I'll be doing this evening.
