&lt;P&gt;What version of the EOS Utility are you trying to install?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Are you sure the cable you are trying to use is compatible?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;With the camera connected and powered on, does it appear in Image Capture when connected?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Rebel T2i - Won't connect to Macbook and EOS Utility won't install</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;First I"m using an Rebel T2i.&amp;nbsp; Trying to connect to a MacBook via usb.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;A direct connection doesn't work as it did with a different Rebel camera.&amp;nbsp; Canon community search says use the EOS Utility.&amp;nbsp; I download the utility app (a chore as there seems to be a few versions of the same app).&amp;nbsp; I install the app and when starting up it tells me to "install the app"!&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;I try to chat with support to find out that I need an account.&amp;nbsp; I attempt to create an account and am told "error".... 5x!&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; So; I'm stuck.&amp;nbsp; Apparently Canon is non functional today.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;What is the procedure to connect the camera to the computer?&amp;nbsp; What software do I need?&amp;nbsp; Pulling my hair out right now..&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I'd appreciate your help.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Thanks...&lt;/P&gt;</description>
