topic EOS Utility Can't Detect EOS M6 Mark II in Camera Software

So I installed the EOS Utility software and connected my camera to the wifi network, but my PC is not detecting the camera. I must mention the computer is connected to the same network, but via ethernet. I'm running windows 11. Is it not finding the camera because the computer is not connected via wifi?

Hello Monstrous_Crow,

The computer being connected via cable to your network should not be a problem as long as the network has a wireless access point that the camera can connect to. During the camera setup process, you want to make sure that you choose [Switch network] once you have selected [Remote control (EOS Utility)] > [Add a device to connect to]. This will allow you to select your wireless network from a list of detected networks. Otherwise, the camera will create an access point by default at this point which could be why your computer is not seeing the camera. The camera is acting as a network providing a SSID name for the computer to connect to directly.
