Thanks, I’ve done all the troubleshooting I can find on various threads. Apple points back to 3rd party and capture one acknowledged the bug, but I wanted to make sure canon was aware as well.

I have two canon RPs plugged directly into my iMac running Sequoia 15.3. On Sonoma, I was able to switch between both cameras while tethered shooting into Lightroom or Capture One. Now I am unable to do this, as the softwares are not recognizing each camera as a unique item; only one camera at a time shows up and I have to turn off the cameras and have only one turned on at a time. I have talked to Adobe and Apple and neither is taking responsibility, so I'm wondering if a firmware update or something would help.
I did plug one RP in and then an 6D, and that DID work as expected- I could switch between cameras easily.

I'm contacting all parties involved with this (Capture One, Apple, Canon, Adobe) in hopes this can be figured out.
To be clear, this has worked for years now on previous IOS versions, and yes, I have made sure the programs have the correct permissions. Any help is appreciated!

Greetings Hoffu,

I am sorry to hear that the two EOS RP cameras are not functioning properly with your software when both are connected to the computer at the same time. It does not appear that a firmware update would be available to correct this type of issue. Canon recommends connecting one camera at a time when shooting remotely with our EOS Utility 3 software application.

For compatibility and functionality between the Canon cameras and non-Canon software, we would suggest reaching out to the developers of those software applications, along with the developer of macOS, though I do see that you have already reached out to them. Hope they are able to provide a solution for you.
