    <description>&lt;P&gt;“&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;1. There are not other apps running.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;2. I successfully connected to the camera with the new EOS Webcam Utility successfully. So I know the problem is not with the USB cable I'm using, or the port being used.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;3. What else can be the problem? (I see other people posting about the same problem)&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;4. i tried restarting again, and still the probelm exists. “&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;The WebCam Utility is probably the problem. &amp;nbsp;It runs in the background on Windows machines. &amp;nbsp;You have to shut it down before the EOS Utility will run, which has its own background app.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;[EDIT]&lt;BR /&gt;After an OS update it’s a best practice to delete the Canon apps and reinstall them.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I've been using EOS Utility 3 with my 6D camera on the Mac OS operating system successfully for 6 years. No problems. After updating to Mac OS 15.1.1, the EOS 3 Utility cannot establish connection to the camera. Error message:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Communication with the camera via USB cannot be established.&lt;BR /&gt;Start EOS Utility after closting all the apps that communicate with the camera and then turn on the camera again.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;1. There are not other apps running.&lt;BR /&gt;2. I successfully connected to the camera with the new EOS Webcam Utility successfully.       <description>&lt;P&gt;I uninstalled the WebCam Utility, restarted, and was able to connect to the camera again with EOS 3 Utility! Thank you for the suggestion! Very much appreciated!!!&lt;/P&gt;</description>
