Trouble uploading PowerShot ELPH 150 images to PC

And I downloaded the software for it, but no matter how I try to use it, nothing happens yet it says it is installed. I have a Canon Powershot ELPH 150 Is. I have used this software not too long ago, and I'm frustrated trying to upload photos from the camera to my PC, Help ?

What software?

You don't need ANY software to get pictures from camera to computer. Connect them with a USB cable. Or take the card ot of the camera and put it inaUSB card reader, or an SD card reader in a so-equipped computer.

Tank you, I do connect the camera to my PC and all it does is "chim" but nothing like a viewer or upload tool ?

The chime tells you the computer sees the camera. The camera should appear as a drive in Windows.

You then open the drive and should see a DCIM folder. Your photos are in it.

There is no viewer or upload tool. You move files to your computer in Windows File manager using your mouse. Put them wherever you want.
