EOS Rebel T7: Trouble downloading images using Camera Connect App

Hi there! I am having trouble downloading images from my Canon Rebel T7 using the camera connect app on my iPhone 15. I’ve used it successfully prior to this instance on my old phone and just having no luck.
First of all no where does it give me the option of registering my camera with a nickname. Apparently that helps when selecting and downloading. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Thank you

Dclapper,

I am not an expert in Canon Camera Connect, but I think you have to start by deleting the wireless settings from your camera and start over from scratch. Your camera may still be trying to connect to your old phone.

You also have the option to do this in a wired fashion rather than wirelessly.
