SX160IS will not load photo's on Windows 11

I changed my operating system from 10 to 11. I've been able to use my SX160IS for uploading photos, but now that I've changed it won't recognize the camera anymore. I no longer have my original disc. Is it just Windows 11, or would having the software reloaded make a difference?

Hi Suzb,

The import software for the PowerShot SX160 IS is not compatible with Windows 11, so you will not be able to import files directly from the camera. You can import your photos and videos using a USB card reader. To do that you would take the memory card out of the camera, load it into the USB card reader, and then use File Explorer to drag and drop the photos and videos into folders on your computer. At this time there are no plans to update EOS Utility 2 for newer Windows operating systems.
