Canon VR utility does not see R5 dual fisheye raw .crm clips

The VR utility 1.5.11 on a Mac 15.1.1 the videos section does not see any dual fisheye R5 .crm files.

My understanding is that you have to have the separate metadata files (.xml, .thm - not sure which is critical) in order for the utility to see the files. I have both CF and SD cards in the camera.

1. When I do a recording not sure which card is going to get the file

2. I don't see these files on the CF card, but they do exist on the SD card.

3. I am recording 8K D Raw C-log3
