topic Canon Camera Connect: RAWs cannot be imported to smartphone, not even as JPGs in Camera Software

It is a miracle to me, that after all this time Canon Camera Connect is around and had several updates, it is still buggy and still unable to import RAWs (to Android at least). But not only that, it seems it can't even convert them to JPG and import them.

Recently, I bought an old Powershot G1X II and trying to connect to my Pixel 8 Pro worked flawlessly (for a change). However, I only shot RAW files. The phone shows me the previews, but trying to open and import them doesn't work. I get an error "failed to save file". Only if I shoot JPGs they get imported without a problem.

It's be really nice if Canon got some skilled programmers who can finally fix this app from being a P.I.T.A. for most users. Please hire somebody who programmed a third-party app that works, like the guy who made Camera Connect & Control.
