On the SMSP website the R100 is not listed as a supported camera. You probably need to contact SMSP for your issue.

Stop Motion Studio Pro compatability EOS R100?

My son recently recently received a Canon EOS R100 camera for Christmas. He uses the software Stop Motion Studio Pro software for making Stop Motion video's. The software recognizes the camera when plugged in via USB but we won't get an image....black only. When connected via HDMI, the software doesn't recognize the camera at all. He's trying to use his camera as the source camera for the Stop Motion Studio Pro software. Do any of you all have experience with this software?

Thank you, JR. I noticed that and have reached out but was hoping the community may have found a solution in the meantime. Thank you for your input and reply, JR. Happy New Year.
